We finally did make it to the rib cook-off in Sparks, but not until Sunday evening. Just too crowded to find a parking space any earlier. The food was ok, but it felt more like a carnival that a cooking competition. Too bad!
Monday, I cooked lists in preparation for trying out the last of our farm to table dinner recipes. Lots of work but worth it! Musts a few tweaks here and there. It was nice spending the evening at Jan and Jim's house. They are really great people! Also got some loose ends tightened up for the dinner.
Today I worked at the Walmart on 2nd Street from 9am to 6:30pm. Amazing people watching there! I almost forgot it was burning man over the weekend because some of the people in the store looked like they were still there! Oh, well, keeps things interesting! I only gave five flu shots today! Long day, easy money. Kinda weird! Anyway, home by 7:15pm, dinner at 8pm then bed.....just cooking work tomorrow.
